4th of July

When I was a child we were often at the beach on the week of the 4th of July.  When I was very small I thought everyone was celebrating MY birthday as my birthday was on the 3rd.  I have always liked red, white and blue but maybe not as much as my older sister did.  I believe she was the first in the family to put up a patriotic Christmas Tree.
